A study realized in Lyons has shown that meals eaten outside home contain on average 50% more lipids than those eaten at home: this is huge, and this is too much! Even when we pay attention while ordering, it is very difficult to be sure of our plate’s genuine contents, let alone to demand that ‘healthy’ fats like canola oil or walnut oil be used to prepare it. Therefore, eating at home (whenever possible) or bringing a home-prepared meal to the office is not only cheaper, it is also healthier.
