I have a degree in Bio-medical Engineering. I began these studies after medical school. Indeed, I believed from the outset that doctors and engineers should “talk” to each other to adapt or invent techniques for diagnosis and care.
I joined INSERM to develop the first expert system (artificial intelligence was already in use in the 1980s!) dedicated to the treatment of type 1 diabetes.
I then implemented a new infrastructure policy as the Director of Equipment at the Paris Public Hospitals Assistance, in preparation for the massive deployment of networks and expert systems in daily medicine.
Today, I am focused on the development of intelligent digital systems for the prevention of type 2 diabetes.
Preventing patients from becoming permanently diabetic has become a priority for me.
